The tracks of the Rockland branch have been hosts to the Maine Central, and Maine Coast Railroads, and the Maine Eastern Railroad, a subsidiary to the Morristown and Erie Railroad. They will now host the Central Maine and Quebec Railway, as a freight only operation, mostly shipping Dragon Cement's powdered limestone to the port of Rockland.
The tracks here in Wiscasset run right along the Sheepscot river with the town on one side and the river on the other, but the train only runs once or twice a week here.
